Who is MARIO

Mario is one of the most iconic and recognizable characters in the world of video games. 
Created by Shigeru Miyamoto, Mario first appeared in the 1981 arcade game Donkey Kong as a carpenter named Jumpman. 
However, he later became a plumber and the star of the Super Mario series of games.
Mario debuted as "Jumpman" in Donkey Kong in 1981, developed by Nintendo. He was later renamed Mario and became the central character in Super Mario Bros. (1985), which marked the start of his own series.
Mario is often portrayed as a brave and optimistic plumber who embarks on various adventures to rescue Princess Peach and defeat his arch-nemesis, Bowser, the king of the Koopa Troopas. Mario is typically seen as a hero with a sense of humor, determination, and a love for adventure.
